If there is a final state but it is not the Logos - some other attractor. Falsification criteria: Identify an alternative Omega that is not the Logos but still functions as the terminus of coherence.

If the beginning and end of reality are fundamentally different - no return, no circuit. Falsification criteria: Show that the origin and destination of reality are unconnected.

DC-4: Coherence Dissipation

If coherence ultimately dissipates with no conservation or return. Falsification criteria: Prove that entropy wins absolutely - all coherence dissolves into heat death with no preservation.

Standard Objections

Objection 1: Heat Death Refutes Omega

“Physics says the universe ends in heat death - maximum entropy, no structure, no coherence. There is no Omega.”

Response: Heat death is the extrapolation of the second law without external input. But BC-4 (Grace) provides external coherence injection. The resurrection demonstrates entropy reversal. Physical eschatology is transformed by theological eschatology: the Logos who created ex nihilo can recreate from heat death. The new heaven and new earth are not subject to thermodynamic constraints of the old.

Objection 2: Circular Time Is Mythology

“Alpha equals Omega sounds like Hindu cyclical time or Nietzsche’s eternal return. This is mythology, not physics.”

Response: The Theophysics circuit is not cyclical in the mythological sense (endless repetition without progress). It is a single circuit: creation $\to$ fall $\to$ redemption $\to$ consummation. History has direction and meaning. The “return” is not repetition but completion - like a symphony returning to its opening theme, transformed by the journey.

Objection 3: Where Is the Evidence?

“There is no empirical evidence for an Omega point. This is speculation.”

Response: Direct empirical evidence for the future is impossible (we cannot observe the future). But there is evidence: (1) Fine-tuning suggests purposive creation, (2) Consciousness suggests observer-significance, (3) The resurrection is historical evidence of coherence-preservation beyond death, (4) The axiom chain logically requires an Omega. Evidence is indirect but convergent.

Objection 4: What About the Damned?

“If all coherence returns to Logos, what about those who reject redemption? Are they annihilated? Universalism?”

Response: The Omega axiom does not entail universalism. Those who reject the Logos remain in maximum decoherence - hell is the state of self-chosen separation from coherence. Their coherence does not return because they rejected the return. The circuit is complete for those who accept; those who refuse remain outside the circuit. This is tragedy within the triumph - the Omega is reached, but not all participate.

Objection 5: This Is Just Theology, Not Physics

“OMEGA is pure theology. It has no place in a physics-based axiom system.”

Response: Theophysics integrates physics and theology. The Omega is the logical completion of the physical coherence story. Physics asks: where is coherence going? The answer cannot come from physics alone (physics describes dynamics, not telos). Theology provides the telos: coherence returns to its source. This is not physics replaced by theology but physics completed by theology.
