The Unitary Trap
(Why “Self-Help” is Mathematically Impossible)
The Core Claim: A closed system cannot fix itself. Thermodynamics proves it. Theology confirms it. “Trying harder” is just stirring the entropy.
1. The Physics of “Stuck”
In physics, a Unitary Process preserves information. It moves things around, but it never changes the total “state.” If you have a box of mixed-up gas, shaking the box (Works) won’t un-mix the gas. It just changes the arrangement of the mess.

To reverse entropy (to create Negentropy), you need Energy from Outside the System. A fridge makes things cold (low entropy) only because it plugs into the wall (external power). Unplug the fridge, and the food rots.
Grace is the External Power. It is a Non-Unitary Operator. It breaks the rules of the closed box. It enters from “Outside” (The Logos Field) and injects Order where there was Chaos.
4. The Equation

Unless: (This is impossible in physics, but possible in Theophysics if the Surroundings are Infinite).
God absorbs your Entropy. That is the Cross. Christ took the “Heat Death” of your sin so you could have the “Negentropy” of His life.
5. The Conclusion
Stop trying to fix the box from inside the box. You are in a Unitary Trap. The only escape is to let Someone open the lid.
